Swimming Pools

there are quite a few public swimming pools in Nanchang, but they can get quite crowded and are often full of children. If you prefer a more peaceful swim you should head for a hotel pool. Though smaller and more expensive than the public pools they are quieter, cleaner and usually heated. Be warned however, many people in China like to swim circuits around the edges of the pool rather than lengths.

If you swim in a hotel pool and you are not a guest in the hotel you'll probably need to buy a membership. Memberships are usually sold for 3, 6 and 12 months. Some memberships offer unlimited visits during, whilst others limit the number of visits. Check with each hotel for terms and conditions
